About SRP’s Ethical Gear
Every attempt is made to accurately represent the products on ScissorsRockPaper. However please keep in mind that these products are made in small workshops in developing countries, sometimes using traditional methods which can result in slight variations in colour, fabric or style. If you feel your product varies significantly from the image and description provided you can contact us to discus a possible exchange.
 
Keeping stock available in Australia is a priority of SRP; however there may at times be supply problems. The groups who produce SRP’s gear are working under fair trade conditions, mainly in rural areas and face many challenges. Some are dealing with serious physical illness, others face political strife and some are at times called away from their sewing to plant rice! The website is kept updated, however if an item can not be supplied, we will contact you to discus other options.
 
Payment
  • Prices are in Australian Dollars and postage is automatically calculated
  • We do not currently charge GST
  • Payment can be made in two ways:
  1. Order through our website and pay using PayPal. PayPal allows you to pay for your order quickly and securely using your credit card or bank account, and better yet, it’s all integrated into our website ordering system. For PayPal’s terms and security information see www.paypal.com.au.

Delivery
Goods will be dispatched once we receive confirmation that your payment has been made from PayPal. We aim to dispatch your order within 5 workings days. This time frame is not guaranteed so if your order is urgent please contact us. If you feel your order has not arrived within a reasonable time frame, please contact us. Parcels lost in transit, where there was no error on the part of SRP, will not automatically be resent, please contact us to discuss your particular circumstance.
 
Postage costs are calculated automatically by our shopping cart, you will be quoted the amount at the time of purchase.
 
Please ensure you enter correct shipping details when placing your order. Any extra expense in tracking and or resending an order resulting from incorrect shipping details being provided will be changed to the customer.
 
Returns
Please choose carefully as SRP does not accept returns for a refund. We will exchange or provide store credit in the form of a gift voucher, if your product is faulty or arrives damaged. We do our best to ensure all goods are packaged appropriately, in the event that your order arrives faulty or damaged, please contact us within 14 days of receipt to arrange an exchange.
 
If your order arrives faulty or damaged, please follow this procedure:
  • Contact us within 14 days
  • Make a record of the problem
  • Do not use the product
  • Keep your receipt
  • Send the item back to us in its original packaging if possible, together with your receipt and description of the problem. We will supply a shipping address when you contact us.
  • You may wish to register or insure your package to ensure its safe arrival to SRP
